About PinScheduler
PinScheduler is a Pinterest management tool that allows you to post and schedule Pins directly to your Pinterest boards. The app connects to Pinterest via Pinterest’s official API (OAuth 2.0) to carry out these actions on your behalf.
Information We Do Not Collect
PinScheduler is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or contact details
- Your Pinterest username, profile information, or follower data
- The content of your Pins, boards, or scheduled posts
- Your device identifiers, IP address, or location data
- Usage analytics, behavioral data, or crash logs
- Cookies or any tracking technologies
In short: we collect nothing. No data leaves your device to our servers.
Pinterest API & OAuth Authentication
To enable posting and scheduling on Pinterest, PinScheduler uses Pinterest’s official OAuth 2.0 authentication flow. This means:
- You log in directly through Pinterest’s own secure login page — not through us.
- PinScheduler receives a temporary access token from Pinterest, stored locally on your device only.
- This token is used solely to post and schedule Pins on your behalf.
- We never see, store, or transmit your Pinterest password.
Your interaction with Pinterest is also governed by Pinterest’s Privacy Policy.
Local Data Storage
Any data related to your scheduled Pins — such as post content, images, and scheduled times — is stored exclusively on your own device. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us or any third party, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.
Third-Party Services
PinScheduler interacts only with Pinterest’s official API. We do not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers. No third party receives your data through our app.
Children’s Privacy
PinScheduler is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, please contact us.
Data Security
Because we do not collect or store any of your data on our servers, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal information through PinScheduler is effectively zero. Your Pinterest access token is stored locally on your device and protected by your device’s own security mechanisms.
Your Rights
Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. However, you always have the right to:
- Revoke PinScheduler’s access to your Pinterest account at any time via Pinterest’s Settings > Apps & Permissions.
- Uninstall the app, which will remove all locally stored data from your device.
- Contact us with any privacy-related questions or concerns.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of PinScheduler after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
