Wulfpowerpro Noise Cancelling Headphones

Last Updated on August 2, 2024 by Duncan

I use Wulfpowerpro noise cancelling headphones for lawn mowing, and I even recommended them here as one of the best headphones for lawn mowing in the market.

First impressions

When I received them, I wasn’t impressed as they came in a boring carton box. As they are more expensive than my 3M worktunes, I expected more, but hey, it is what it is. So I proceeded to open them.

Inside was a manual in different languages. The manual is basic, and within a few minutes, you will have understood everything from wearing them to how to set them.

There is also an auxiliary cord to connect the headphones to your device if you don’t want to use Bluetooth, or you have a device that doesn’t use Bluetooth.

Color

They have an exciting orange and black color.

Construction

They are pretty well constructed although, they feel a little junky, but as long as you don’t drop them or run them over with your lawnmower, they will last for long.

The headband is tough and rubberized to give you a good grip (even when wearing a hat), so you don’t have to worry about them falling off.

Size

I can say they will fit almost anyone as they have a large adjustment. I tried them on my two-year daughter and they fit perfectly.

Display

Although, the display is nothing to shake a stick at, it’s large enough to clearly see the mode you are at and the battery level.

Battery

The left side of ear cups has a battery slot. On opening the battery cap, you find a basic 800mAh 3.7V battery that resembles an old phone battery.

Although, the battery isn’t as powerful as that in my work tunes, it lasts for one to one a half days.

Comfort

The ability to adjust them to any level and the comfortable earcups make these headphones extremely comfortable so you can wear them for hours without any issues.

One of my neighbors complains that he gets headaches after wearing them for long hours as they tend to squeeze his head too much due to their high clamping force.

I have no issue with this (as I have an averagely sized head). If you have a larger melon, you may have to consider this. Try out the pieces and stay in them for a moment before committing to buying them.

Noise cancelling

They are quite effective at canceling noise, and they will block out a noticeable amount of loud noise. When I wear them, they block up to 60% of the lawnmower noise. To drown the noise further, put on the radio or music.

Sound quality

They are pretty decent to listen to, but if you are an audio file and a perfectionist, you might not like them. I often listen to audiobooks when mowing, and they serve me well. If all you want is sound, I guarantee they will get the work done.

What I like

  • Pretty decent noise cancellation
  • Comfortable
  • Good sound quality
  • Easy to operate
  • Long battery life

What I don’t like

  • They lack the auto shut feature, so when you forget to switch them off, they drain the battery.
  • Bluetooth is unstable. When something hits on the headphones, Bluetooth keeps connecting and disconnecting, which is annoying.
  • They are expensive

Would I recommend these headphones?

As much as they have their quarks, they are pretty decent headphones, especially for yard work. They are a little bit expensive than they should, but if you have the budget, try them out.

On my 15th birthday, I became the designated gardener in my home.

Now at 32, I have a small garden and every day I'm out trying different plants and seeing how they grow. I grow guavas, peaches, onions, and many others. Want to know more about me? Read it here.
